The Alliance Française d'Orange County is affiliated with the Federation of the Alliances Françaises in the U.S. and is part of a worldwide network. Our Alliance is one of 1,300 Alliances that have been established in 134 countries around the world.

We are a non profit, apolitical association whose mission is to create and strengthen the mutual friendship and understanding between two cultures and countries linked by their past and their destiny.

The Alliance welcomes anyone who wants to experience French language and culture without leaving Orange County.

- high quality French classes in a friendly, relaxed yet dynamic atmosphere. 
- a newsletter in French published 4 times a year.
- cultural events such as lectures and exhibits by speakers and artists from France
- social events such as meals in various restaurants throughout the year to celebrate Le Beaujolais Nouveau, Les Rois, Mardi Gras...
- "le cercle de lecture", a book club where members gather to share their conversation skills and reading savvy 
- a library offering over 700 books in French.
