Discussions will usually take place on the fourth Monday of each month. Participants are encouraged to watch the film via streaming before attending the discussion. 

French Cinémathèque, a celebration of Francophone cinema sponsored by One Film One Federation, in collaboration with Telescope Film, offers a curated selection of monthly films. Our members can exclusively enjoy the monthly selection on specified streaming platforms followed by a free hosted discussion in English with Peter Debruge, Chief Film Critic of Variety. 

This month's selection is :

L'Origine du mal / The Origin of Evil (2022), by Sebastien Marnier

Without a husband and without children, Stéphane, 45, a small worker in a fish cannery in Fos-sur-Mer, finally dares to reconnect with Serge, her father whom she has hardly ever known. The reunion is overwhelming but Serge is an aging man and Stéphane doesn't want to waste any more time; she immediately agrees to meet her family.
