Summer French Class – Immersion Program
This class is part of our special summer program, designed to review and reinforce key language skills rather than follow our standard curriculum.

Unlike our other summer classes, this course is not a refresher. It follows our regular curriculum and learning progression. The only difference is its duration: the summer session runs for 7 weeks instead of the regular term length.

Unlike our other classes, the only difference with this summer session is its duration: the course runs for 7 weeks instead of the regular term length.
This course is designed for C1 learners who want to engage deeply with French through discussion, debate, and reflection, beyond a traditional syllabus. We will explore a variety of topics – from society and culture to literature, art, and current events – focusing on advanced language use, argumentation, and expressing nuanced opinions.
This is an open track course, without homework assignments nor time-bound schoolbook progression; instead, the emphasis is on speaking, listening, and engaging critically with complex ideas in authentic contexts. You will develop confidence discussing a wide range of subjects in French and expressing your thoughts with clarity and sophistication.

Fridays, 9:45am - 12:45pm (in person) - Adult classes
This course is designed for A2+ learners who want to consolidate their skills and gain confidence before moving on to B1. We will revisit everything you’ve learned, moving from understanding the structure of the language to actually using it, combined with practical communication and paraphrasing strategies, in a flexible and interactive format.
This is an open-track course, with no traditional schoolbook progression – instead, we focus on speaking, listening, and using French in real-life situations. By the end of the course, you’ll feel ready and confident to step into B1.

Friday 11am - 1pm (on Zoom) - Adult classes
Le programme d’été ne change pas des cours de littérature habituels, à la différence qu’il s’étale sur 7 semaines.
Le cours de littérature proposé les vendredis matin s’adresse aux apprenants dont le niveau de compréhension écrite est avancé, et qui ont déjà l’habitude de lire des œuvres littéraires en français. Vu qu’une grande partie de ce cours tourne autour d’un échange verbal, celles et ceux souhaitant s’y inscrire doivent également être capables de s’exprimer de manière intelligible, niveau intermédiaire fort, voire plus avancé.
Des grands classiques de la littérature française seront étudiés.

Co-tutoring is a private class designed for two participants. Perfect for friends, family members, or collaborators working on a shared project, it offers personalized instruction tailored to each individual's needs—within a focused and private learning environment.
Please note that the Alliance does not match students for co-tutoring. You must have a confirmed learning partner before booking this class. Your learning partner will also need to register separately.
